Being part of #TeamMarieCurie, the official Charity of the Year, is your chance to help people living with a terminal illness. It means we can continue to provide expert care, give support over the phone, and push for a better end of life for all.

Every five minutes someone dies without the care they need, so it’s vital we act now. We’ve never needed you more, please apply to run for us today.

Applications for a Marie Curie place have now closed and we received a record level of applications for the 2026 event. If you would still like to support Marie Curie as Charity of the Year, you can run the virtual version of the London Marathon – London Marathon MyWay. Or why not volunteer at this year’s event to cheer on our Marie Curie runners? Register your interest by emailing eventsvolunteer@mariecurie.org.uk.

a fundraising pack to help you smash those targets
on-hand support from our dedicated fundraising team, from when you sign up to the finish line
a free Marie Curie running top or vest which you can wear with pride
access to Coopah’s training app with videos, weekly training plans and blogs from a personal trainer
the opportunity to join our in person training session and join five virtual sessions, to help along the way
loud and proud cheer stations to spur you on through those tough miles
a post-race reception to celebrate with friends and family after the race!
