Marie Curie Trading Limited eCard Terms and Conditions

In these terms the reference to 'Marie Curie' or 'we' means Marie Curie Trading Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marie Curie whose registered office is at One Embassy Gardens, 8 Viaduct Gardens, London SW11 7BW, charity registration number 207994 (England and Wales), SC038731 (Scotland). Registered as a company in England and Wales (02292795). Any reference to 'you' means the person purchasing the eCard. Any reference to 'Shop' means our eCard shop accessed via www.mariecurie.org.uk/ecards

By ordering eCards through the ecard Shop you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the eCard Terms and Conditions set out below. These are the Terms and Conditions which you accept when purchasing an eCard from Marie Curie Trading Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marie Curie. Please read them carefully before submitting your order.

1. Marie Curie is not able to offer a refund on Gifts That Matter or eCards unless a fault has occurred that is a direct result of an error or omission on our part. You accept that you are solely responsible for the accuracy of your order which includes the accuracy of the text and delivery details for the recipient of the eCard (including but not limited to email addresses). We strongly advise you to check you are happy with all details on your order prior to submission as no corrections can be made or refund offered once the submission of your order has been made /received by the Shop.

2. You accept that you are solely responsible for the content of any message that you request be placed on an e-card and that you are solely liable for any defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or offensive statement or any false, misleading, inaccurate, infringing or other actionable material contained or referred to in any message you submit for inclusion on the eCard.

3. You undertake not to send e-Cards to people who do not wish to receive emails from you.

4. Where payment is by credit/debit card the person ordering must be the credit/debit cardholder or have the cardholder's permission. Should the cardholder deny that permission was granted, you may be subject to legal action.

6. All of the proceeds from the donations received by Marie Curie Trading via eCards and/or Gifts that Matter is gifted to Marie Curie and goes towards providing more nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and their families.

7. You accept that Marie Curie reserves the right to use the funds from the sale of Gifts That Matter products where they are most needed to continue to provide care for terminally ill people in its nine hospices and in their own homes.

8. You accept that these Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) apply immediately you place an order for an eCard and/or a Gift that Matters and you will continue to be bound by them for as long as you wish to use the Marie Curie eCard shop.
