Information
Vélo Birmingham & Midlands (formerly Vélo Birmingham) is returning on Sunday 12 May, bigger and better than before. 17,000 cyclists will take on this new 100-mile closed road journey through the West Midlands.
The route starts in the heart of Birmingham city centre and includes the cobbled roads of 2021 Capital of Culture Coventry and the historic Coventry Cathedral.
Not only will you travel though two major city centres, you’ll also enjoy riding through Solihull, Warwickshire, Dudley and Sandwell where you will encounter stunning countryside, panoramic views, picturesque villages and iconic climbs — not to mention the tens of thousands of local residents lining the streets to cheer you on!

How we support you
How the money you raise helps
£207 could help fund nine hours of overnight nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness.
£400 could help fund 15 hours of bereavement support by phone or webchat, so those who are grieving get the support they need.
£1,250 could help fund a portable oxygen system that will relieve distressing symptoms, so a person doesn’t have to be confined to bed.
