Event details

Last year more than 14,000 people put on their best tartan to fundraise for charity, and we’d love you to join us this year as part of Team Marie Curie!

The Glasgow Kiltwalk  is the first of the year, and we couldn’t be more excited to get our kilt on. It is a brilliant event to take part in as an individual or as a team with family and friends (even furry friends!).

There’s a distance to suit everyone:

The Wee Wander

  • Start line: Loch Lomond
  • Finish line: Moss O’Balloch Park
  • Distance: 3.1 miles

The Big Stroll

  • Start line: Clydebank
  • Route: Along the River Clyde and River Leven
  • Finish line: Beautiful Balloch, Loch Lomond
  • Distance: 14.2 miles

Due to popular demand and previous years' sell-outs, the Glasgow Big Stroll is available on both Saturday, 26 April and Sunday 27 April - giving you even more opportunities to join the team and take part!

The Mighty Stride

  • Start line: Iconic Glasgow Green
  • Route: Along the River Clyde and River Leven
  • Finish line: Beautiful Balloch, Loch Lomond
  • Distance: 22.6 miles

You'll receive your free and exclusive tartan Marie Curie t-shirt to wear with pride and there’ll be opportunities to unlock further merchandise!

On the day support

We can’t wait to give you a big cheer as you take on your challenge to help you cross that finish line. Just look out for the loudest and most yellow cheer point!

How the money you raise helps

£180 pays for someone with a terminal illness to attend the day therapy unit at the hospice.

£400 pays for someone to stay in a Marie Curie Hospice for 24 hours, so that they can receive the hands-on care they need in their final days.

£1,250 pays for a portable oxygen system that will relieve distressing symptoms, so a person doesn’t have to be confined to bed.
