The iconic Brighton Marathon, one of the UK's largest marathons, returns on Sunday 6 April 2025.
Join Team Marie Curie at the incredible Brighton Marathon, held in the iconic seaside city, on a stunning 26.2 mile course that starts in the heart of the city and finishes in style on Brighton's world-famous seafront.
The route
The fast and beautiful course of the Brighton Marathon makes this a 'must do' on any runner's list. Starting at Preston Park, and the route goes into Withdean before the turn back down the London Road towards the city. Once past the Pavilion, the route goes up into Kemptown and then follows the coast to Ovingdean before a final turn back for a breath-taking view of the city, following the coast along the promenade and into Hove before finishing at Hove Lawns.

Registration is now open so you can tick the Brighton Marathon off your bucket list and join Team Marie Curie for the UK's most popular seaside marathon! Please note that we are experiencing very high demand for our charity places. If places are sold out and you would like to express interest, please email us at team@mariecurie.org.uk.

How the money you raise helps
£23 could pay for an hour of expert care and emotional support for someone living with a terminal illness, in the comfort of their own home.
£100 could help fund half an evening's care in a person's home when they need it most.
£200 could help fund nine hours of nursing support in someone's home through the night, bringing the expert care and comfort families need.
