Join Team Marie Curie at the 2025 adidas Manchester Marathon, one of the UK's premier running events.
The event has become a favourite with runners of all abilities, ranging from some of the world's greatest elite runners, to those who thought completing a marathon would never be possible.
It's the second largest marathon in the UK, and the 4th most popular in Europe, with over 32,000 runners lacing up their trainers for the challenge.
The Route
Famous for its fast, flat and friendly route, the Manchester Marathon starts in Old Trafford, and takes you north through the city centre before heading south, down through Sale to Altringham. You'll then head back up north, back through Sale before finishing back at Old Trafford.

£23 could pay for an hour of expert care and emotional support for someone living with a terminal illness, in the comfort of their own home.
£100 could help fund half an evening's care in a person's home when they need it most.
£200 could help fund nine hours of nursing support in someone's home through the night, bringing the expert care and comfort families need.
