Event date

This half marathon is being run on Sunday 13 October 2024.

What if I become injured or need to cancel my place?

Please contact our Supporter Relations Team at team@mariecurie.org.uk or on 0800 716 146.

When will I receive my official race day information and race number?

You can expect your race bib to be delivered by 1 week before the event. Bibs will be delivered by standard post and no signature will be required upon delivery. Please note that with a large number of packs to be distributed this process takes place over several weeks. Further Race Information will be posted in the Runner Hub on the Royal Parks website prior to event day.

Your race pack contains the following:

  • Race bib with timing chip attached
  • Safety pins

If you haven't received your race pack by 7 October please contact info@royalparkshalf.com

When can I drop my baggage off?

There will be a bag drop area on the day by the start line (within the event village). You will receive a baggage label in your race pack which you will need to attach to your bag before handing it in. This will match your race bib number. You'll need to show your race bib in order to collect your bag after the race.

When does the race start?

The race starts at 9am. Start times will be staggered in order to keep everyone safe, and all runners should have received their wave time in an email from Royal Parks. We recommend that all participants arrive with plenty of time to spare, so they can make use of facilities and prepare themselves for running.

Where will the race start and finish?

The race will start and finish along South Carriage Drive in Hyde Park. This is also the location of the race organiser's event village, including bag drop.

Will there be drinks stations?

All runners must be responsible for their own hydration, so please bring water and a water bottle. There will be refill stations at various points around the course.
