What is Swimathon?

Ready to make a splash at Swimathon? The world's largest annual fundraising swim takes place in 400 pools across the UK. Last year, Swimathon swimmers raised over £1 million - incredible! By taking part, you'll be helping people living with a terminal illness, and their families, get the care and support they need.

Choose a distance to suit you

Whether you're a regular in the pool or you've just started out on your swimming journey – Swimathon has a challenge for you. You can choose to swim 400m, 1.5k, 2.5k, 5k, on your own or as part of a team.

You also have the chance to Supercharge your swim and take on the Triple 5K!

Can't make the Swimathon weekend?

Don't worry if you can't attend one of the events on the weekend of 28-30 March - you can still sign up to take part in MySwimathon, where you can choose to swim any distance, at any time, and at any venue of your choosing between 21 March and 6 April 2025.

Why you should take part

I'm spurred on by the thought of my dad. He took his last breath in a Marie Curie hospice and the people there made it safe and comfortable for him. I can never thank them enough.

Alison, swimmer from Swimathon 2024. Alison’s dad spent his last months in a Marie Curie hospice.
