Marie Curie has around 45 patrons who support the charity across the UK, either within their own communities or in relation to one of our nine hospices.
Through our partners' generosity and the enthusiasm and commitment of their staff, we're able to reach more people and their families living with terminal illnesses across the UK.
Matthew has been Chief Executive of Marie Curie since February 2019 and is passionate about social justice and ensuring that everyone who is dying – and their families and loved ones – have the very best holistic support and clinical care they can.
His Majesty the King, Charles III is Royal patron of Marie Curie. Over the years he has kindly supported the charity in a variety of ways.
We want every part of Marie Curie to be a place where everyone feels accepted, respected, valued, and heard – whether they’re staff, volunteers, supporters or the people we help. Find out more about our commitment to being a diverse, inclusive charity.
