Other fundraising initiatives

As well as supporting national campaigns and putting on events, your group will champion other ways for people in your local area to support Marie Curie such as:

• collecting donations from local people on our behalf
• encouraging donations of stock to the local Marie Curie shop
• promoting Marie Curie’s regional events such as Walk Ten, abseils, swims, cycle rides and runs
• informing about other ways to donate such as regular giving or a gift in your Will

You may come across other ways that Marie Curie raises money such as:

• direct mail appeals
• face-to-face fundraising at supermarkets
• house to house fundraising
• nationwide corporate charity of the year partnerships
