Marie Curie works closely with local care homes, GPs and other healthcare professionals to help open up conversations about your future plans, wishes and care. Discussing and writing down your wishes, preferences and goals now means the people close to you, and those involved in your care, will be better able to support you in future.
Once you’re referred to the service, a Marie Curie Nurse can visit you and help you work out and write down your plan, and share it with the people important to you.
This service is currently available in care homes across Ealing and Hounslow, and to residents of Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
Our Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead is temporarily closed and not accepting in-patient referrals. Our Support and Wellbeing team continues to provide outpatient care and support remotely.
We’re currently delivering a new model of care to continue delivering expert care and support for people living with a terminal illness and those close to them in North Central London.
