Experience of care and support

Share

Whatever your experience of Marie Curie, we would really appreciate you taking our short survey.

What our patients and their loved ones have told us

We ask our patients and their carers to tell us about their experience of using Marie Curie services. In 2023–2024:
  • 98% rated their experience of Marie Curie care and support was very good or good
  • 92% told us we always involved them in decisions about care
  • 98% of patients said that we always treated them with dignity and respect
  • 97% said they were always able to give their views on the quality of care and support.
Our patients and carers told us:
  • “It helps to keep me at home and stops my family worrying too much about me at night.”
  • “It has made our family so happy knowing my mum is getting treated with the best care and support we could ever wish for.”
  • “Marie Curie provided me with a sense of safety where I knew that no matter what, I'd be looked after and supported.”
We value all your feedback as it helps us to improve our services and recognise and share positive feedback with our staff.

We got to Marie Curie and within about 10 seconds I knew I’d done the right thing. The atmosphere in the place was unbelievably calm. From the very first second, I thought, even if you only last half an hour, this is the place to be.
