Looking for a volunteering opportunity that makes a day-to-day difference to people's lives and that you can do from home?

Rewarding remote volunteer opportunities at your fingertips

Whether you’re at home, in a caravan, or out on the road – contribute your time and skills to ensure a better end of life for all, from wherever you are in the UK! We have a variety of virtual volunteer roles on offer, from providing phone support to someone affected by terminal illness to offering up your admin skills.

I feel privileged that Marie Curie let me be a part of what is a difficult time in someone's life. If those few months of conversation and being there have made a difference to that person, it's all been worth it.
Peter, Marie Curie Companion

Become a telephone support or Online Community volunteer

As a telephone support or Online Community volunteer, you’ll provide ongoing emotional support to adults affected by terminal illness or bereavement.

The roles are an incredible opportunity to be there for people when they really need it and make a real difference to someone's life, while gaining skills in relationship building, time management and communication.

Become an admin volunteer

Brush up on your IT and admin skills while gaining valuable experience at a large national charity! Our admin volunteers support Marie Curie with a range of tasks like answering the phone, producing documents and supporting us plan and implement key projects.

Join our I&S Voices group

We’re looking for people from across the UK with lived experience of living with or caring for someone with a terminal illness, or of bereavement.

It’s a flexible volunteering role that involves telling us what you think about the information and support we have on our website and print. Is it easy to understand? Does it tie-in with how things work where you live in the UK? Or in your community? Your feedback will mean that other people get better support at the times in their life when they need it.
