When you become a volunteer with us, you’ll receive training designed to help you feel confident in your new role, feel part of the Marie Curie family, and understand the vital contribution you’re making to people living with a terminal illness. You may also receive additional specialised training and guidance depending on your specific role.

Fundraising volunteers support Marie Curie fundraising activities in their local community. That might mean managing collection tins, supporting local fundraising groups, or delivering fundraising materials.
Marie Curie Companions are trained volunteers that offer regular support for anyone affected by terminal illness. There are both remote and in-person roles available.
